This song, Worth the Drive, describes a future wedded couple’s love story. The writer of this song describes his drive home, at the end of a long work week, to finally see his stunning love. The excitement he feels is now a shared experience with the listener. The lyricist shared that when the song played on his wedding day, “my wife was blown away, as well as all of our guests. They later told us how amazing and touching it was. A lot of jaws dropped. At the end of the evening, when the reception was coming to a close, the DJ gathered everyone on the dance floor. He then played, Worth the Drive, one more time, as we danced and said our good-byes to our friends and family. I have a vivid picture in my mind of all of our guests, arm-in-arm, swaying to the music and grinning ear to ear. This song truly helped make the moment.”
