About half an hour ago after having a preview myself, I played this in our home for my wife Wendy, who the song was written for in 1997. My first and only song. She was so emotional we hugged and cried for her first play through. Thanks mate. I cannot give you and the team, including the beautiful singer, higher praise. When i started this journey with you I had no idea if I would even get a song, or if it would sound any good. Well you have outdone my highest expectations and if you knew me they are set high. Echoing Simon’s words, I was absolutely blown away by what he had organized. To say I was somewhat overwhelmed but with joy, happiness, and so many other wonderful emotions is an understatement. It was just the most amazing piece I had ever heard and the most wonderful gift I could ever receive. The journey for Simon with this song from the time he wrote it, the reasons for when he sat down and put this together, filing it away in a safe place and then relocating and then taking the steps to find someone to trust with his thoughts and feeling and put these lyrics into music has been a long and emotional journey for him as well. And again, it was so beautiful to hear the final product to which we are both just incredibly grateful for. I don’t think the song could have been done any better!! It was just amazing and so heartfelt. The singers angelic voice was simply perfect for this song!. Thank you for bringing our ‘Reality’ to life… a beautiful piece our hearts will treasure for ever.
