Echoing Simon’s words, I was absolutely blown away by what he had organized. To say I was somewhat overwhelmed but with joy, happiness, and so many other wonderful emotions is an understatement. It was just the most amazing piece I had ever heard and the most wonderful gift I could ever receive. The journey for Simon with this song from the time he wrote it, the reasons for when he sat down and put this together, filing it away in a safe place and then relocating and then taking the steps to find someone to trust with his thoughts and feeling and put these lyrics into music has been a long and emotional journey for him as well. And again, it was so beautiful to hear the final product to which we are both just incredibly grateful for. I don’t think the song could have been done any better!!
