The origination of the lyrics for this song were created by the lyricist’s 90 yr old mother, who is now residing in a memory care facility with dementia. These are the only memories she reflects on and they bring her much peace and happiness. She was a former bluegrass musician playing on live radio in the early days with her late husband.
