Story Behind the Song

A beloved woman is the lyricist’s muse and inspiration for, Every Minute. In this song the lyricist, rather impatiently, waits for the woman he loves to return to him. Unfortunately, time moves as slow as molasses, as the song declares, “…every minute seems like an hour/and every hour like a day.” It is said that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and in this case, absence will make the heart explode!
