The Song's Story
A loving poem a man penned for his wife before they were married years ago. He thought making it in to a song and giving it as a gift on their anniversary years later would make a special, different, present. We think he was right on the money... and so did she by her reaction!
"If her reaction is anywhere close to mine, she will love it. You definitely took into account my minimalistic and jazz preferences and that's very much appreciated. The mood of the song is spot on for what I wanted. Please thank your singers for me as well. They pulled the melody together in a way that will be easy for us to sing together when the time is right. After things settle down for me at work, I have a couple more poems I'll need your help with. Thanks again David and all the best."

O beautiful silent wonder of twilight, unending are the pleasures you've brought to lovers minds, to children's eyes. How long you've put me to bed at night, dazzled with your wonder, drawing me to look upon you, to feast on your sight. Many are the places you lay your head, beneath the calm waters of a river, behind the towering walls of a mountainside, below the unending valleys. None can diminish your majesty, none may hide your splendor. Can you see me staring in wonder at your grace, looking in awe at your splendor? Could this be why you so slowly tell me good night, giving me one more chance to see beautiful quiet smile? Always bring gladness to my heart, pleasing me with your golden colors, your silent song entrancing me forever and a night.
